What is Cement Clinker


Cement clinker is a semi-finished product obtained by mixing raw materials of limestone, clay and iron as raw materials in a suitable proportion, burning until fully or partially melted, and cooling. In the cement industry, the main chemical components of Portland cement clinker in common use are calcium oxide, silicon dioxide, and a small amount of aluminum oxide and iron oxide. The main mineral composition is tricalcium silicate, dicalcium silicate, tricalcium aluminate, and tetracalcium aluminate. Portland cement clinker can be made into Portland cement after grinding together with proper amount of gypsum.

The use of cement clinker

At present, cement clinker is widely used in civil and industrial construction engineering fields, such as cementing in oil and gas fields, large-volume dams in water conservancy projects, and military repair projects. It can also be used as acid resistant and refractory materials and tunnel injection plugging to replace pit wood. In addition, it can also replace wood and steel in many occasions, such as telephone poles, railway sleepers, oil and gas pipelines, oil and gas storage tanks.

Stage 1: Crushing of raw materials

The material is crushed by the crusher to the fineness that can enter the mill(15mm-50mm).

Stage 2: Grinding

The crushed small pieces of material are sent to the storage hopper through the elevator,and then sent to the grinding chamber of the mill evenly and quantitatively through the feeder for grinding.

Stage 3:Classification

Through classification, the coarse powder will return to main mill to grind again.

Stage 4:Collection of finished products

The powder that meets the fineness enters the dust collector through the pipeline with the air flow for separation and collection, and the collected finished powder is sent to the finished product silo by the conveying device through the discharge port, and then is packaged uniformly.
