Process principle of cryolite powder production line

Grind the aluminum electrolysis waste residue through a Cryolite Raymond Roller Mill to below 75-250 microns. After removing the carbon and iron in the waste residue, add concentrated sulfuric acid and react for 30-1800 minutes at a temperature of 20-90°C. The hydrogen fluoride gas produced during the reaction is absorbed with water or alkali solution. After the reaction is completed, add 1-20 times the mass of waste residue water, stir for 2-20 minutes, filter, and add 10-30% mass fraction of sodium carbonate solution or solid sodium carbonate and 10-50% mass fraction of hydrogen fluoride to the filtrate. acid. Stir and react for 1-3 hours at 20-95 degrees to obtain cryolite slurry. After filtering, washing and drying, the cryolite product is obtained. Then it is processed by a cryolite grinding machine to obtain the finished cryolite powder.

6. Drying

The separated solid material (cryolite) is sent to a three-pass dryer for further drying, and the result is artificial cryolite. The cryolite product is ground again by a cryolite mill to obtain the finished product of cryolite powder as a cosolvent in the aluminum plant.
